the beatles were, are and always will be wonderful artists and musicians, but they were wrong. love is not all we need. we also need food, water and shelter. if you’d like to disagree, we can test the theory. i will happily drop you in the middle of no where, and we can see how well you survive on love and love alone.

Liss there are a million examples of people who’ve succeeded in their fields despite early turn-downs. Actors, sports stars, singers. Elvis! [I could probably think of a more modern example but I’m only just in from a run and probably a touch hypoxic still.] Is it the only audition you’ll ever have? I imagine acting, far more so than sports or academic performances, is so dependant upon how you feel on the day. You’ve another audition tomorrow, you could kill it, and then would you feel like you should do something else? No way!
Ya win some, you lose some; but I guarantee you you’ll learn a heck of a lot more from the latter than from the former.
